Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Frank Simcik officiating. Burial followed in the Corinth Cemetery in Buckholts. Mr. Allison, a rancher, was born April 18, 1927 in Milam County to Raymond and Matilda (Heitman) Allison. He was a Marine Corps veteran having served in the Korean War and is a life member of the NRA and the American Legion Post #133 in Temple. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Allison of Buckholts; two sons, Clayton Allison of Katy and Michael Allison of Buckholts; one brother and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buckholts Brethern Church or the Christian Sisters Society.
