She was born July 17, 1906 at McDade, was a homemaker, and a member of Milano Methodist Church. Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Monday, March 13, at Pleasant Retreat Cemetery near Thorndale, Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Retreat Cemetery. Survivors are one brother, Rev. Howard Buchanan of Thorndale; one sister, Hazel Geissen of Albuquerque, NM; also three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
