Thomas Wayne Fisher was released after posting $15,000 bond as set by Justice of the Peace Chip Dunsmoor. State Trooper Ernest DelBosque told The Reporter last week he would file intoxication manslaughter charges in connection with the death of 35-year-old Jennifer Gest, who was a passenger on Fisher’s 1990 Honda motorcycle when it left the farm-market road approximately eight miles north of Rockdale at 10:45 p.m. June 4. “The case is now in the hands of the district attorney (Prosecutor Kerry Spears),” DelBosque said. “This (charge) is it, so far as my investigation is concerned.”
