Mike Wyckoff officiating. Mr. Brashear died Friday, March 24, in a Carrollton hospital. Mr. Brashear was born March 17, 1924 in Cameron and was a retired banker. He was a graduate of C. Y. Yoe High School and attended Duke University. Mr. Brashear served in the United States Navy in World War II. Mr. Brashear formerly worked at First National Bank in Cameron and later at First State Bank in Hearne. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. Survivors are his wife, Harriet Brashear of Carrollton; two sons Thomas E. Brashear of Wichita, KS and Joel D. Brashear of Round Rock; a daughter Linda Mason of Paris; a brother, Warren Brashear of Beaumont; daughter-in-law Janet Brashear of Wichita, KS, and Susan Brashear of Round Rock; a son-in-law Norma Mason of Paris and seven grandchildren.
