Burial will be in Salty Cemetery near Rockdale. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the funeral home. Mrs. Beck died Monday, July 24, at her home in Rockdale. A longtime Rockdale resident and was a homemaker. She was born Sept. 30, 1918, in Thorndale to Charlie Lee and Eula Lee (Caffey) Tucker. She married Curtis Cardwell, on June 5, 1934, in Thorndale and he preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1982. She married Tom Beck on Jan. 23, 1987, in Taylor and he preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1993. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Lula Cardwell; two brothers, Buster and Buddie Tucker; a grandson, Don Morr; a great-grandson, Cory Menges; and a great-great-granddaughter, Camry Abegglen. Survivors are two daughters, Martha Morr and husband Craig of Rockdale, Dot Menges and husband Johnny of Tanglewood; a step-son, Dave Beck of Moffat; a brother, Paul Tucker of Thorndale; a sister, Emma “Sis” Strong of Rockdale; her caregiver, Carolyn Dickey; three grandchildren, Tammy Engelke, Junior Menges, Vanissa McCoy; two step-grandchildren, Mark Beck and Jeremy Beck; five great-grandchildren, John Engelke, Stormie Menges, Morgan Menges, Wyatt Menges, Casey Abegglen; three step-great-grandchildren, Makayla Beck, Garrin Beck, Ryan Beck; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Abegglen and Avery Abegglen. Pallbearers will be Matt Abegglen, Albert Weller, Charlie Roepke, Michael Ropke and James McCoy.
