Brown, 84, of Cameron, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 11 at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MSi. Mrs. Brown died Monday, May 8 in a Cameron nursing home following an illness. Mrs. Brown was born May 17, 1910 in Lauderdale, MS and was a homemaker. Survivors are her husband, Alvin Brown of Jackson, MS; two daughters, Dorothy Newell of Cameron and Doris Hernandez of O’Brien, FL; three sisters, Pat Walker of Jackson, MS, Myrtle Jones of Jackson, MS, and Roxie Dean of Meridian, MS; also, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
