Walter Matus officiating. Burial followed in Saints Cyril & Methodius Cemetery in Marak. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Mr. Dohnalik died Monday, June 26, in a Temple hospital. A farmer and well known and sought after “water witcher” in Milam County, he was born June 10, 1915, in Rosebud to John and Josephine (Ulicnik) Dohnalik. He married Vlasta Vaculin on Jan. 22, 1946, and she preceded him in death in 2002. Mr. Dohnalik was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, American Legion Post No. 9, and K.J.T. Four grandchildren, Sarah, Landon and Candice Zavodny and Kevin Dohnalik, also preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons, Anton (Tony) Dohnalik of Cameron, Frank Dohnalik Jr. of Zabcikville, George Dohnalik of Cameron; a daughter, Mary Zavodny of Rogers; also, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Saints Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.
