IRENE HARTSFIELD RITCHEY of Houston, Texas passed away Thursday, June 22nd, in a local hospital. She was born in Cameron, TX on November 7, 1915. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Baker Ritchey, daughter, Susan Kay Meyer, and granddaughter, Lizabeth Ann Ripley. She is survived by her son, George Roy Ritchey and wife Karen, daughter, Loretta Ellen Land and husband Henry, son-in-law James R. Meyer and wife Dianne; granddaughters, Karen Raye Meyer, Sheila Kay Meyer, Jayme Caroline Rucker, Shelly Renee Dawson, Christy Denise Sartor, Amanda Irene Cassidy, Kimberly Michelle Ritchey and grandson, David Land, along with eleven great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, June 23, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. in the funeral home. A chapel service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 3:00 with interment following.
