Rev. Darren Donaldson officiated. Mr. Brandstetter died Saturday, Oct. 14 at the VA Hospital in Temple. He had lived in Milano since 1981. He was born Jan. 23 1933 in Brenham to Grover and Alma (Steffen) Brandstetter. He worked as an air conditioner repairman and worked for B&W Armature Works in Houston for over 15 years. He married Joyce (Moses) Brandstetter Oct. 4, 1955 in Brenham. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Alma Brandstetter; two brothers, two sisters and his half-brother. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Brandstetter of Milano; a son, Larry Lee Brandstetter, Jr. of Milano; two daughters, Gloria Ann Brandstetter Lunsford of Houston and Lola Jean Brandstetter of Milano. Also by a sister, Era Buckner of Center Point; two step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eddie Diver, James Lunsford, Jerry Louter, Scotty Smith, Curtis Rodenbeck, Jimmy Kettler and Carl Islet. Mr. Brandstetter enjoyed watching sports, taking his children fishing and camping and taking them to the zoo when they were children.
