R. Boecker, 85, of Fort Worth were held Saturday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron. Mr. Boecker died Thursday in Fort Worth. He was born Oct. 10, 1910 in Ben Arnold. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth. He worked as a controller for Swift and Co. until his retirement. He is survived by a son, Bill Boecker of Fort Worth; a daughter Lillian Burrows of Joshua; two brothers A. J. Boecker of Manor and W. O. Boecker of Bryan; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
