Rev. Thomas Dusek and Rev. Glynn Cummings officiated. Mrs. Bickett died Saturday, Aug. 19 in a Temple hospital following an illness. She was born Sept. 12, 1910 in Piedmont, AL. She was retired from the health care profession. She was a member of the Garden club and the Central Texas Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Bickett in 1991. She is survived by four sons, Bob Bickett of Irving, Andy Bickett of Houston, John Bickett of Rosenberg and Keith Bickett of Dallas; two daughters, Della Ann Elliott of Dallas and Patricia Sue Williams of Cameron; two brothers, Harold Howell and Oscar Howell, both of Jacksonville, AL; two sisters, Melba Haywood and Elgera Bigleston, both of Fargo, FL; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
