Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 28 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. David Payne of Bee Creek United Methodist Church, Rev. Barry Methvin and Calvin Springer officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Rosenberg, a flight attendant for Delta Airlines for 26 years, was born Oct. 19, 1954 in Cameron to Jerry and Peggy (Dreher) Hosek. She married Ray Rosenberg on April 8, 2006 in Spicewood. She was raised in Rockdale, and lived in Spicewood and Austin area for the past 20 years. She also lived in New Orleans and Houston. Mrs. Rosenberg was a member of Bee Creek United Methodist Church in Spicewood. She was a graduate of Rockdale High School in 1973 and graduated from Southwest Texas University in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She graduated from Delta Flight Training School in 1980. Survivors include her husband, Ray Rosenberg of Spicewood; two sons, Colin Andrew Butschek and William Chase Butschek of Spicewood; parents, Jerry and Peggy Hosek of Rockdale; mother-in-law, Sylvia Rosenberg of New Orleans; sister, Debbie Ament and husband Charles of Gatesville; niece, Jill Ament; nephews, Austin Ament and Jared Ament. Pallbearers included Austin Ament, Jared Ament, Keyloe McKenzie, Fritz Feltner, Milton Brooks and Jim Darwin. Memorials may be made to Town Lake Animal Center, 1156 W.
