She was retired from the health care profession. She was a member of the Garden club and the Central Texas Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Bickett in 1991. She is survived by four sons, Bob Bickett of Irving, Andy Bickett of Houston, John Bickett of Rosenberg and Keith Bickett of Dallas; two daughters, Della Ann Elliott of Dallas and Patricia Sue Williams of Cameron; two brothers, Harold Howell and Oscar Howell, both of Jacksonville, AL; two sisters, Melba Haywood and Elgera Bigleston, both of Fargo, FL; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He married Joyce (Moses) Brandstetter Oct. 4, 1955 in Brenham. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Alma Brandstetter; two brothers, two sisters and his half-brother. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Brandstetter of Milano; a son, Larry Lee Brandstetter, Jr. of Milano; two daughters, Gloria Ann Brandstetter Lunsford of Houston and Lola Jean Brandstetter of Milano. Also by a sister, Era Buckner of Center Point; two step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eddie Diver, James Lunsford, Jerry Louter, Scotty Smith, Curtis Rodenbeck, Jimmy Kettler and Carl Islet. Mr. Brandstetter enjoyed watching sports, taking his children fishing and camping and taking them to the zoo when they were children.

Does anyone know how I can get this figured out??? I'll go ask Rodney if we've got Winstons or Fords in our line or if maybe ...is this an Ancestry site? We share a subscription, maybe that's it. HELP!

Pastor Don Ledbetter of Georgetown, Mark Nygard of Elgin, and Dwight Kelley of Rosebud will officiate. Mr. Applegate was born May 10, 1945 in Georgetown, and spent the next 17 years growing up in Bowie where he accepted Christ as his Savior at the Baptist Church. He graduated from Bowie High School in 1963, then moved to Liberty Hill and commuted to Austin to attend Nixon-Clay Business College. That same year, he became employed with Duncan Typewriter Co., where he spent the next 40 years of his life. He purchased the business in 1973. He was a lifelong rancher and also spent the past 15 years as the office manager for Milano Livestock Exchange in Milano. He served his country from 1964-1967 and served in Vietnam in the engineering battalion. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Georgetown. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Darlene, daughters Donna Marie Kaatz of Jarrell, and Rhonda Kaye Fisher, and husband, Wayne of Rockdale, and son David of Jarrell. Five grandchildren; Kayla and Tyler Kaatz and Mason Nusbaum of Jarrell, and Travis and Traci Fisher of Rockdale. Two brothers, Dee Applegate of Fort Worth, and Randall Applegate of Bowie, and one sister, Louise of Bowie. Numerous nieces and nephews, extended families and many friends also survive him. He never met a stranger and everybody he met became his friend. His mother, Mildred Christian Applegate and his father, NM Applegate, of Bowie, a sister, Lenora Kaiser of Graham and a brother, Sonny Applegate of Fort Worth, and a nephew, Randy Jones of Bowie, preceded him in death. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Travis Fisher and Tyler Kaatz, nephews Dwayne Brodnax of Irving, and Randy Dee Applegate of Fort Worth, friends, John Dooley of Granger, and Jeff Hage of Jarrell. Honorary Pallbearers will be son-in-law, Wayne Fisher of Rockdale, Ronnie Lastovica of Belton, Steven Lastovica of Salado, Kevin Nusbaum of Georgetown, Aaron Brown, Matthew Hage, Logan Perry and Buddy Williams of Jarrell, Sidney Garrison of Cameron, Tom Hensley of Liberty Hill, and Dale Applegate of Mayfield. Burial will be held at Land Cemetery at Jarrell. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the family to help in covering expenses. Ms. Dailey served as a waitress at Henry’s Cafe in Aransas Pass and was a caregiver for family members. She was an avid gardener and reader and loved hummingbirds. Survivors are two daughters, Paula Evans and husband James of Aransas Pass, Theresa Truitt and husband Charles of Milano; a son, John Havelka of Wichita Falls; a sister, Martha Knight of Ennis; a brother, Billy Tobias of High Springs, FL; also, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
