A man named Bigfoot Ray or John Bigfoot Ray was buried in Milam co Tx in probaly the 1920's but I am not sure about the date. He was part native American. He was from Mississippi or Alabama. A family story says he was killed in a bar fight in Rogers Texas and was buried in Milam co Tx in a small cemetery. A second cousin said he had seen a copy of an old newspaer that said he thinks it said his name was John Bigfoot Ray but he could not remember for sure. I know this is not much to go on. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Wimberly was born Oct. 8, 1912 in the Briary Community to James A. and Allie (Mosley) Sullivan. She was a retired sales representative for the Dietz Memorial Company in Waco where she began her career at the age of 65. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rosebud and a member of the Eastern Star in Rosebud for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Victor Vaughan Sullivan in 1939; son, Ronald Wimberly in 1934; step-mother, Theresa James Sullivan in 1968 and her husband, John Perry Wimberly in 1970. Survivors include daughter, Patricia "Pat" Runcie and husband, Steve, of Cameron; granddaughter, Cynthia Bras of Roanoke; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Whitney Bras of Roanoke and her beloved cat "Barney."
