    3. Would it be possible for the person who is sending the one-liners on SOOOOOOOOOO many people to combine them MAYBE!!!!!!!! My mailbox was full of all of these----hey I like info to and I know this may bless some people but I don't think everyone can weed through all of these, I'm just deleting them ALL! Pooped out!!!!

The Reverends Bob Owens and Jack Mitchell of Second Baptist Church in College Station Officiated. Burial followed in Rest Ever Memorial Park. Mrs. Garrett was born July 28, 1887, in Alabama. She had lived in Brazos County for the past 34 years. She was a housewife and a Baptist. She died Monday morning in a local hospital. Survivors include five sons, Robert C. Garrett of Route 2, Bryan; Henry Garrett and Pete Garrett, both of Bryan; John Garrett of Ft. Worth and Roy Garrett of Victoria; one daughter, Mrs. Leola Todd of Route 3, Bryan; 26 grandchildren 53 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. = = = = NOTE = = = = She was raised in Milam County and was the daughter of Henry Read Williams and Sarah LaFarlett Williams, both buried in Pebble Grove Cemetery, Milam County.

He was a native of this county and had been in the grocery business in Thorndale for about 5-years. When he was quite small, his father [F. Y. Norman], then constable for Beat 5, was murdered while attempting to make an arrest and for years he was the sole support for his widowed mother and the younger children. He was married to Miss Fannie Williamson who with two children, one a boy age about 20-months, survive him. He was a Woodsman of the World and a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows. Kenney is the Spanish translator in the general land office of Texas and has been a citizen of Texas 69-years, having lived in Texas under four flags. He was well acquainted with Gen. Houston and more than once has introduced him to the people of Austin county in his canvasses for office. He was the commander of Company K, 21st Texas Cavalry, D. C. Giddings Regiment, one of the most notorious and daring scouts in the Confederate army, who had charge of the famous Crowley’s ridge where he was almost mortally wounded, having his windpipe shot in two by a minnie bullet. Fuller died at his home in San Antonio last Sunday evening. He was one of the best known lawyers in the state. He was sick a few days with malarial fever which completely undermined his constitution. He was born at Bonham in 1860 and was a graduate of the Agricultural & Mechanical college. In 1894, he was a candidate for attorney general, that being the year when Crane was nominated for his first term. In 1897, he was appointed assistant attorney general and served 2-years. He served 1-term as member of the legislature.
