In response to a request of availability of Cemetery Records for Midland Co., I checked them out and at the same time looked for Gowl, which had an inquiry previously. I found the following: James Vance Gowl, born iin Edgar Co. IL, July 29, 1872, died in Midland , TX Oct. 17, 1940, buried in Fairview Cemetery. There probably will be an obit for this date.
