GRAMMER was the cousin's name-- Rube's mother I. T. Galloway Parker's sister (named either Sarah or Charlotte) m a GRAMMER. This family had a drygoods or department store. My grandfather had been on a cattle drive from Lamesa to Midland to put the Higginbotham cattle on trains to Mexico where the Higginbotham's were relocating their cattle ranching. He caught pneumonia on the trail & was taken to the Grammer's. My grandmother, Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) Deane Parker joined him there to see him through the illness.
