Carol, where is this cemetery located. Maybe this is where my gggrandmother is buried. Sarah Jane Askins, d. March 4, 1901, interred at Mart, Texas. We've looked at the big cemetery in Mart and didn't find her. This almost sounds like the one we have been working on, Harper Cemetery in Elk. It is 3 acres of thorns and briars and we can't seem to get ahead of it. Without equipment and enough people to help, it's a losing battle. Maybe it you publish the surnames of those you found, then those relatives will come forward to help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Couch" <ccouch@hot1.net> To: <TXMCLENN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, February 23, 2002 9:42 PM Subject: FW: Endangered Cemetery > > > > Subject: Endangered Cemetery > > > There is a small cemetery just outside of Mart that has burials back to > 1891.
