I have been in contact with Hunt County Genealgy and their Court House they can't find any records on my Great Grand Mother. Sarah Margaret (PRICE)McLain was born in Tuscaloosa ,Al on Nov 12,1848 died in Hunt County June 12,1898 and buried in South Sulphur Cemetery. Her husband was William Harvey McLain born Al Nov 3,1847 died Mar 7,1926. William Harvey was an hardshell Baptist Preacher. The McLain's leff Ala and came down the Black Warrior River to another river and they landed in Galveston ,Texas. The McLain's might have settled in Houston are Hill County Texas. The McLain's went North :East to Anna ,Texas where their oldest daughter was born Mary Ann McLain. Mary Ann McLain married Joseph Maxwell Chastain of Wolfe City Texas. We are trying to find any kind of records that might reflect Sarah Margaret Price father and mother. This has been our only brick wall the PRICE Family. Thanks Ross McClain
