I don't know if there are many of you interested in the Mart area but I will offer this up. I recently started working at Mart City Hall, and to my delight discovered that there are 3 volumes of death and birth records that were never sent to the state. These three books are in fragile condition, so no xerox is allowed, but if you have a birth or death record you are searching for from the Mart area in the 1913-1930 time frame, email me and I will see what I can do. Also, I am slowly transcribing these volumes ( to the best of my ability to read their handwriting) and am looking for suggestions of places to list these records. Where do you think is a great places to have them? I will take all suggestions. Carol Couch
