I saw this article in the paper and figured that some of you might be interested. Here is a short version of the article. Members of the Gholson Cemetery Association are trying to identify unmarked or lost grave sites at the cemetery. Ray Walker, the cemetery's caretaker says an effort to identify graves is in process. He has a list of 10 identified that need markers and 30 - 40 that still need to be identified. Walker wants to encourage descendants to claim their ancestor's grave sites. Of particular interest is one that a rock and flowers appear on the grave once a year. "We don't know who they are and we would like to find out", said Walker.
