Richard Williams Jr was born @ 1812 in Blount County, TN. He moved with his family to Texas in the 1840s, eventually settling near Gatesville, Coryell County. He died in 1857 near Gatesville. Some time after that his remains were moved to an unmarked grave in the Old Howard Cemetary in Troy, Bell County, Texas. Richard was widowed in the 1850 census. He remarried between 1850 and 1857, county unknown. Richard's oldest child, Sara E Williams, was born in Blount County, TN @ 1837. She married somewhere in central Texas before the 1860 Census. Does anyone have the marriage record of Richard Williams Jr and his 2nd wife, name unknown? Does anyone have the marriage record of Sara E Williams and unknown. I did not find them in Coryell County, so either I overlooked the records or the father and daughter were married in one of the surrounding counties. Thank you very much.
