Philadelphia cream 1/2 cup ground pecans cheese jelly Cream the butter and the cheese together. Add the flour. Roll thin and spred very thin with jelly and ground pecans. Roll like a jelly roll. Let stand over night. Slice thin and bake. -Luzelle Hollingsworth ******************** Refrigerator Cookies 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 cups flour 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup chopped pecans Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar; add egg and beat well. Add vanilla extract and nuts. Add sifted dry ingredients; Mix well and shape into rolls one and one-half inches in diameter. Roll in wax paper. Chill several hours or over night. Slice thin.
