My Mother then living in Rosebud, TX in 1917-18 use to go to the Cotton Palace in Waco where many of the military from nearby base(s) attended. She met my Father there and they were married in Waco 07DEC1918 and lived in Ft. Worth. Just how large was this club and did they have big name bands or what?
