Round up into balls and let stand a few minutes to make it easier to rollout. Roll out dough one-eighth inch thick on lightly floured board. Brush each half of dough with 1/2 unbeaten egg and sprinkle each with 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans. Pat the nuts into the dough with the hand. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares with a sharp knife. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes in moderate oven (375).
