    3. Okay, I found another 'treasure', but not fr. my great-grand or grandmother's things. This is one that came from some sale somewhere long time ago. I have no ties to St. John's Methodist, now a part of Central United Methodist as they merged several years ago. This was put out by the Friendship Class in 1948. No one I am kin to attended the church, to my knowledge. Mom had two copies of this and she kept the best one. It is possible these names won't mean a thing to anyone. Then again, one might. The recipes may just sound too delicious not to try. Then again, someone may find that long lost family recipe that had gotten misplaced over the years. There is alot of advertising inside. Many businesses now gone. But perhaps one or two will tweak a memory or two. Maybe you'll recognize a name of a favorite place or remember the name that you had forgotten because it shows up here. I will transcribe a few pages at a time, just as I did with 'Treasured Thoughts' and 'The Northern Light'. I'll put spelling corrections as I catch them in (paranthesis) Bon Appetit!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cover is green with an illustration of chubby chef in complete uniform.
