I am hoping that someone living in Waco can help me. I have several old photographs of Eldon Claire Gough Brooks that I would like to give to her family. I am not related to her but I inherited these photos from some of my relatives. I would hate to throw them away but I have no connection to her. She was once engaged to one of my cousins and these photos were dated 1929. I have done a little research on her via the WWW and this is what I know about her: Eldon Claire Gough born 1909, attended Baylor, married Marcellus Smith Brooks, Jr. and died in 1981 in McLennan County. She had at least two children: Joseph Wilks Brooks b. 1933 & Martha Gough Brooks b. 1936, both of these children were born in McLennan County.
