Well, I went rummaging out at moma's for stuff to eBay. I found this neat little booklet. Front signed by Harry D Hoffman 1948. I have no idea what this was, a club or what. Maybe someone on the list knows. On pg. 2 is a little paragraph I'll summarize. It says the "40" Singers were organized Feb. 4th, 1904. Those signing this were deeply grateful to MR. E. J. Sparks for making it possible for this great gathering. They reference it to bringing back memories of nearly half a century ago. They reference themselves and other members as "Forties". The on pg 7 is an interesting note, Editor's Note: There are two on the list, one Chester Dewey, two Luther Lowry, address unknown. If by 1988 the next Convention we do not find them we will have to put them on the dead list. Ex-Committee How odd?? 1988. Hmmmm??? So does anyone have ideas on what this club was for?
