I have been unable to locate Hermoson, TX. I think it may be in the McLennan Co area, but am not sure. I have a book belonging to my grandmother which has Hermoson, TX under her name. The book was purchased in West, Texas, but I know she lived in Waco as well. It seems to be a school book, but she also taught school. Any help would be appreciated. Ann Adell
According to the Handbook of Waco and McLennan County, Texas: Hermoson, in central McLennan County, three miles east of Waco, was the name of a post office which opened in April 1894, when Charles J. Keesee was appointed postmaster. In March, 1903, Hermoson was renamed North Waco. The post office was discontinued in July, 1905. Peggy Duty, Volunteer "P. & A.
