Benjamin was reported as a Captain during the Civil War. Benjamin and Mary are listed on the 1860 Calumet Township, Pike co, Missouri census with 3 childrenf and then of nthe 1880 McCullough Co, Texas census within Brady City. This family also found on the 1900 McCullough Co Census, apparently with a 4th chid. Benjamin died 14 September 1909 and Mary died 26 June 1910.
