He was born Dec. 13, 1968, in El Campo to Laura Sodia of Danevang and the late Willie Robinson. He was a technician for Allied Waste Industries and had served as Fire Chief of Danevang Fire Department for the past three years. Survivors: brothers, Michael Robinson of San Diego, Calif., Mark Robinson Sr. of Bay City [Matagorda County, Texas], and Willie Ray Robinson of Stockbridge, Ga. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cook-Butler Funeral Home chapel in El Campo. Services will be at 2 p.m. at Danevang Lutheran Church, the Rev. Laird Engle officiating.
