He was born July 25, 1961, in Ganado, to Robbins Paschail Odom and Marcelle Ryman Odom. Glenn was an instructional specialist at Green Valley Elementary School in Galena Park I.S.D. He was a graduate from Bay City High School and Howard Payne University and received his master’s degree in administration from Sam Houston State University. Glenn had worked for 20 years at Green Valley School. He will be greatly missed by his fellow teachers, administrators and especially by the students. He is survived by: his parents, Robbins Paschail and Marcelle Ryman Odom; brother, Robbin Gerald Odom and wife Betty of Wadsworth; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Jeff Willard of Plano, Charlotte and Michael Allgaier of Markham, Christopher and Charlotte Norton of Bay City, Daniel and Mary Norton of Arlington, and Rebecca Odom of Wadsworth. He also is survived by his very good friend, John Brassfield of Houston, Texas. Glenn was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Norton. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2005, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Zimmerman officiating. Interment was at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, Texas. Pallbearers were Christopher and Daniel Norton, Kenny Ryman, Michael Allgaier, Wayne Michael and Wayne Moore.
