He was born Sept. 29, 1917, in Liveoak Community, to the late William Allen and Annie Bell Brown. Preceded in death by: wife, Jessie Lee Woods. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. today at Green's Mortuary and noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church in Bay City. Family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. L.C. Cunningham Jr. officiating.
