Interment will be at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing. Mrs. Jewell was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Lower Peach Tree, Ala., to Fannie Mae Adams Williams and the late Eddie Williams. She died May 29, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Bernard J. Jewell; daughter, Constance Bexley Iwanski of Portland, Tx.; sons George Ronnie Bexley of Sugar Land, Tx., Lindsey W. Bexley of Blessing, Tx., and Eddie L. Dunn Jr. and Mark A. Dunn Sr., both of Palacios, Tx.; sister, Ada J. Webb of Frankfort, Ind.; brother, Sam Williams of Picayune, Miss.; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
