GARZA - PORT LAVACA PORT LAVACA - Carmen Marie Rivera Garza, 62, of Port Lavaca, died Friday, June 9, 2006. She was born April 7, 1944, in Bay City [Matagorda County, Texas], to the late Huberto Rivera Sr. and Francis Reyes Rivera. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness. Survivors: former husband, Antonio R. Garza; daughters, Christine "Tina" Garza Zamora and Corena Marie Garza, both of Port Lavaca; sons, Johnny Garza and Steve Garza, both of Port Lavaca, and Mark Anthony Garza of Van Vleck; sisters, Eloisa Garza and Gloria Garcia, both of Port Lavaca; brothers, Huberto Rivera Jr. of Fredricksburg, Tomas "Tommy" Rivera Sr. of League City, Juan Rivera, Eddie Rivera, Robert Rivera, and Albert Rivera, all of Freeport, Jesus "Jesse" Rivera and Ernest Rivera, both of Fort Worth; and 10 grandchildren. Preceded in death by: sisters, Louisa Olivarez and Francisca Villarreal; and brother, Robert Lee Rivera.
