G.R. Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas. She died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at her residence. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Senior Mission. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She had a passion for collecting frogs, loved gardening, working in her flowerbeds and cooking. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Dennis Green; parents, Selby and Violena Chyllis; daughter, Bobbie R. Jackson; sons, Eddie Green and Richard Green; sisters, Henretta Chyllis and Hermola Chyllis; brother, Jimmy Lee Chyllis and stepson, Charles Green. She is survived by: her sons, George Fountain (Thelma), Bay City, Eugene Green and Melvin Green (LaPearl) both of Angleton; daughters, Peggie Stafford and Marquerite Greene both of Angleton; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Jackson, Goldie Jackson, Norman Stafford, Jr., Norman Stafford III, Wendal Collren, Tony Stafford, Gary Green and Christopher Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Rowe, Robert Hodge, Israel White, Sr., Ronny Hill, Eugene Green, Melvin Green and George Fountain. Visitation was from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria, Texas. There will be viewing at the church from 9 until 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2006.
