She was born September 23, 1923 in Nada, Texas to the late Theofield John and Hermina Skutca Krenek. Mrs. Dabelgott was an active member of St. Robert's Catholic Church in Markham and faithfully attended her "Senior Citizen's Group" every Tuesday. She also was a member of the Texas Retired Teacher's Association. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and J. B. Freiley of Bay City, Irene and C. J. Benefield of Polk City, Florida, Geneva and Rick Rader of Old Ocean, and Mary Jane Dabelgott of Palacios, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Terry Dabelgott of Woodsboro, Texas; sister, Eleanor Knebel of Bay City; sister-in-law, Henrietta Dabelgott of Bay City grandchildren, Darin, Daryl, and Shana Strader, Derek and Dara Dabelgott, Christy Benefield, Stephanie Nauman, Ashlee and Tony Pitta Lima, Amanda Kacal, Kirk Wichman, Joey Kacal, John Freiley, Dara and Austin Taylor, Misty Priester and Rick Rader, Jr; great grandchildren, Jordan Austin, Jonathan, Jennifer, and Blaze Dabelgott, Kailey Taylor, Betty Pitta Lima, and Luke Pitta Lima who is on the way; and many nieces and nephews and her friends including her special friends, Danny Kacal, Walter Skutca, and Gloria Carter, and her faithful companion, "Puppy". In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Earl Dabelgott; brother, Silvy Krenek, and sister, Maisie Krenek Karstedt. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Taylor Bros. Chapel. The Funeral Service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darin, Daryl, and Derek Dabelgott, and Joey Kacal, Tony Pitta Lima, and Randy Morales.
