Maitland June 2, 1943 - April 9, 2006 David H. Maitland, 62, of Bay City passed away April 9, 2006. He was born June 2, 1943 in Greenville, Virginia to Andrew and Bessie Maitland. Formerly of Norfolk, Virginia, he had been a resident of Bay City for five years and was a member of Rhema Fellowship Church. Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Maitland of Bay City; three daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and George Schneider of Blessing, Marlease and Bob Bucher of Virginia Beach, Virgina and Crystal and Jeff Farrell of Bay City; three sons, Michael of Alabama, Russell of Arlington, Texas and Tommy of Ft. Smith, Virginia; sister-in-law, Elkie Maitland; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two foster grandchildren Kenny Jay and Patricia both of Bay City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Butch Maitland. Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Villereal officiating.
