Julia was born on March 25, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to Henry Pitrey and Lucille LeBlanc Pitrey. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Salvation Army Home League. A memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Major Dan Whittaker, chaplin of the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clarence Meaux. Survivors include: two daughters, Patricia Bufkin and her husband, Phillip of Markham, Texas and Sandy Meaux of Port Neches, Texas; one son, Kenneth Meaux of Norristown, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Evelyn Crochet of Beaumont, Texas, Lou Miller of Nederland, Texas, Mary Louise Havens and her husband, John of Lumberton, Texas; five grandchildren, Anesia, Jessica, Amanda, Bryant, and Brandi; and three great-grandchildren.
