J. Weldon Gilbert, eulogist. Burial followed at Markham Cemetery. She was born May 13, 1931, in Markham, Texas, to Hamp Morgan, Sr. and Vella Harrison Morgan, and passed away March 28, 2006, in Houston, Texas. Survivors include: six daughters, Delorian Morgan-Jones and Martha Morgan, both of Houston, Brenda Morgan and July, Debra Eaton, Linda Eaton, and Shawn Eaton and Claudis, all of Bay City; and four sons, Kenneth Eaton and Felecia of Houston, Darryl Eaton and Angulette of Beaumont, Leonard Eaton, Sr. and Felecia and Boyd Eaton and Lawanna, of Bay City. Also two sisters, Mary Lee Roberts of Houston, and Eddie Steve Dunbar of Bay City, and three brothers, Gifford Morgan and Charles Courtney, both of Houston, and Eugene Moore and Susie of Wharton. Also one sister-in-law, Everlina Kuykendall, and one brother-in-law, Richard Eaton, Sr., both of Bay City; 30 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren, four god-children, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Eaton in 1983, one son, Eddie Morgan in 1970, and four brothers, Clemmon Patterson, Hamp Morgan, Jr., Cleronia Morgan, Sr. and Gene Moore.
