She was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Allenhurst to Tommie Sr. and Mary Washington Abbott. Survivors: husband, Isaac Portee; daughter, Patricia Portee; sisters, Cassie Abbott of Bay City and Earline Abbott of New York; brothers, Tommie Abbott Jr. of Ashwood and Robert Lee Abbott of New York; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. today at Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church, the Rev. T.L. Richardson officiating.
