L. C. Cunningham, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Green's Mortuary. Mr. Pointer will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until services time on Thursday. Mr. Pointer worked for the Bay City School District for 30 plus years.
