Jesus was born on October 8, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas and was a resident of Manvel for 13 years. Jesus graduated from the University of Texas Branch in Galveston in 1963 with a degree in Radiological Technology and remained his passion until he retired from the Veterans Adminstration Medical Center in 2002. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manvel, Texas. Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Cruz and Jose Montalvo; brother, Adolfo Montalvo and sister, Belia Montalvo. Jesus is survived by: his wife, Maria Montalvo; children, Teri Williams and husband, John of Pearland, Texas, Sylvia Howard and husband, Mark of Bay City, Texas, Cathy Montalvo of Bay CIty, Denise Calvillo and husband, Luis of Manvel, Texas and Gabriel Montalvo also of Manvel; grandchildren, Bruce, Nick, Dane, Cheyne, Lance, Devon, Alina and Angelina; siblings Santos, Jose, Dolores, Nilda, Domingo, Homero and Graciela, numerous other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Visitation will be held from 5 until 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Scott Funeral Home. A Rosary service was recitied at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at noon, Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manvel, Texas with the Father Jack Broussard, C.S.B. celebrant. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery, Alvin, Texas. Pallbearers are to be Bruce Howard, Nicholas Williams, Dane Howard, Cheyne Williams, Lance Howard, and Devon Williams. The family suggest memorials be made to: Houston Hospice Home or American Cancer Society. Arrangements under the direction of the Scott Family, 1421 East Hwy 6, Alvin, Texas 77551.
