He was born in Flatonia, Texas November 25, 1939. Dr. Cooper was a retired Optometrist. He was preceded in death by his parents - Charles E. Cooper Sr. and Elizabeth Taylor Cooper. Survivors: wife - Delores Hajek Cooper - Two sons and daughters in law - Curtis and Donna Cooper of Frisco, Clay and Heather Cooper of Plano, One Step-son - Cody Cannon of Bay City - one sister - Sue Harris of Gonzales - five grandchildren - Cole, Caitlin, Cara, Cherokee, Cashin Cooper - Three Nieces and husbands - Hope and Jimmie Mills, Kathy and Ryan Ripp, Donna and Steve Urbanovsky. Services will be held Monday, February 6, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton with Rev. J Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Moulton City Cemetery.
