Laxton's Rites Held Here Sunday From Home Chapel Services for Chepos [Cephas/Cefus] Franklin Laxton, 75, were held Sunday from the chapel at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. Ellis J. Veale officiated. Burial was in Cedarvale Cemetery, with the funeral home in charge. Mr. Laxton is survived by one daughter, Mrs. A. R. Hand of Victoria; three sons, W. L. of Victoria, L. V. and F. E., of Bay City; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Hughes of Wolfarth, Mrs. Homer Cheek of Greenville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Swallow of Fort Worth; one brother, W. S. of Greenville.
