FISHER SR. - BAY CITY [Matagorda County, Texas] BAY CITY - John D. Fisher Sr., 65, of Bay City, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006. He was born Jan. 14, 1941, in Pledger, to the late Sarah Austin and Jim Fisher. Survivors: wife, Linda Fisher; daughters, Joanna Fisher, Estella Fisher and Jacqueline Murphy, all of Houston; stepdaughters, Audrey Gamble and Wanda Robertson, both of Houston; and son, John D. Fisher Jr. of Bay City. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. tonight at Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grove Hill Baptist Church in Pledger, the Revs. Derrick Blount and Ray Felder officiating. Burial will be at Union Baptist Cemetery.
