Graveside services for Howard Fremont Mozley, Sr., 79, of Palacios, were held Jan. 26, 2006 at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing with Bro. Shan Jackson officiating. Mr. Mozley was born July 25, 1926 in Foss, OK to the late Earl Franklin and Lola Gillespie Mozley. He died Jan. 23, 2006 at his residence. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and a resident of Palacios since 1932. He served in the US Navy during WW II, and was a farmer by trade. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Teri Lee and Donald Kelly of Palacios; son Howard Fremont Mozley, Jr. of Bay City, Tx; daughter-in-law Crystal Mozley of Palacios; and 5 grandchildren, Justin Kelly and wife Andrea of San Antonio, Dylan and Lucas Kelly both of Palacios, and Monte and William Mozley both of Palacios. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Lois Mozley; sister, Mildred Miller; and brothers, Clifford, Richard and Raymond Mozley.
