Corporon, 82 of Palacios, were held Feb. 16, 2006 at Palacios Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Craiker officiating. Interment was at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing with military honors under the auspices of VFW Post 2467 of Palacios. Mr. Corporon was born April 13, 1923 in Citrus Grove Community, Tx. to Percy Virgil Corporon and Lu Ellen Fox Corporon. He died Feb. 12, 2006 in Houston. He was a life-long resident of Matagorda County, a member of the Church of Christ of Palacios, a US Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, and a Life Member of VFW Post 2467 of Palacios. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Corporon of Palacios; daughter, Bonnie Carolyn Corporon of Palacios; sons, Kenneth Duane Corporon of Stafford, Tx. and Allen Neal Corporon of Liberty Hill, Tx.; brother, Larry Wayne Corporon of Houston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Allen N. Corporon, Kenneth D. Corporon, Larry W. Corporon, Robert Nitsch, Brett Corporon, Carl Corporon and Victor Corporon. Palacios Beacon Matagorda County, Texas February 22, 2006
