Funeral Home. The family received visitors at Taylor Bros. March 2, 2006. He was born June 20, 1915, in Palacios, Texas, to Charlie and Myrtle Warn. He was preceded in death by: his son, Billy Warn; parents; brothers, Donald Warn and Red Warn; and sisters, Marg Hendly, Oma Raymond and Myrtle Fletcher. Survivors include: his wife, Dora Troutman Warn; daughters, Helen Pratt and husband Buddy of Ft. Worth, Texas, Mary Layton and husband D.L. of Bay City, Texas, Dorothy Havel and husband Henry of West Columbia, and Lilly Distasi and husband Tony of Kennedale, Texas; son, Charles Warn and wife Linda of Kennedale, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. Warn worked for Matagorda County Precinct 4 for 32 years and was a Bay City Tribune carrier for 25 years. His favorite activities were raising chickens and being an avid fisherman. Burial was at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons, Charles Layton, Jeff Havel, Mike Charron, Chuck Warn, Richard Hendry and Tony Distasi.
