The burial will follow at Memory Gardens of Edna. A rosary will be recited at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. Ms. Payne died on Saturday, February 4. Born on September 26, 1957, in Ganado to Caroline and Dennis Muschalek of Edna. She was employed by FEWA in Bay City. Survivors in addition to her parents include a son, Jayce Payne of Sante Fe, TX; brother, Jeff (Janice) Muschalek of Edna; sisters, Tammy Muncrief of Edna and Tracey (Raymond) Myska of Orange Grove; nieces; Candace Muncrief, Ashlee Muschalek, Jordyn and Abbey Myska; nephews; Derrick and Kyle Muschalek, and Dustin Muncrief; great-niece, Karsyn Muncrief. She is preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Muschalek; and grandparents, Leroy and Ella Beyer and John and Victoria Muschalek.
